AmbassadeursTeam (Groningen)
The Ambassadors Programme is one of the three national programmes of AIESEC in the Netherlands. In this programme, talented young students obtain the opportunity to gain a unique
international experience. By a national selection process 20 first and second year students will be selected from over 400 applications. In groups of two, they'll be sent to ten countries as an ambassador
of AIESEC in the Netherlands. After an intensive preparation the duos will start their trip and stay aborad for 6-8 weeks during summer holidays.
At the moment the ambassadors team is placed in Groningen. The different team roles:

In the summer the team starts with the acquisition neccasary to organize the programme and in November the marketing period starts. The team organizes a marketing in all 10 AIESEC
cities, to make sure every first and second year student can subscribe. Afterwards there will be three selection rounds. The first round is a local round in every AIESEC city. The second round takes place
on the Ministry of Foreign affairs, where students have to do assignments. In the last round the 20 final students will be selected by job interviews. Before the ambassadors are leaving the Netherlands,
they will be well prepared during a weekend with several trainings. During the year, the person responsible for the country contacts chooses the countries of destination. This person decided with the committees
abroad about the projects the students will participate in.
The ambassadors team is a dynamic team in which every member has a large own responsibility, but it's also important that team members help each other when needed. Doing this,
you'll obtain a lot of different skills and by your contacts in the Netherlands and abroad you'll get to know a lot in interesting people. Are you interested to organize this national programme and
