Take care of the financial sustainability of the Nour project
The External Relations part of the job means that you’re responsible for the financial sustainability of Nour. You handle all the communication with the head sponsor and keep them updated about all the activities within the Nour Project and discuss points of improvement. You will do this by calling, emailing and meetings at their office.
This task comes with quite some responsibility. The Foreign Affairs part means that you have all the contact with the countries in the MENA region. This includes questions from the Nour Managers, questions from participants about housing or projects, but also casual conversations about the MENA region.
“The External Relations & Foreign Affairs Manager function is really diverse. From serious meetings at our head sponsor’s office to casual skype conversations with my colleagues in the arab region. It is really nice to be the direct contact with the MENA countries. I really learnt a lot about them and their culture.”
